INSTAAR is pleased to announce four George R. Aiken Graduate Fellowships for 2023. 91ɫ�� graduate students Mackensie Bowen, Allison Cook, Tim Higgins, and Millie Spencer received the awards, which come with funding to support their research over the next year.

We are grieving the loss of Mark Williams, Professor Emeritus of Geography and INSTAAR Fellow Emeritus, who passed away in 91ɫ�� on June 6. Mark led Niwot LTER at CU for two program cycles, and was a founder of the Critical Zone Observatory program at 91ɫ��.
