- CU-91色吧 College of Music faculty, students and alumni at the biennial Symposium on Music Teacher Education, which took place this September at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
- The program will feature presentations by Rabbi Jeffrey Summit of Tufts University and Associate Professor of Music Theory Yonatan Malin, on their work in the area of Jewish music. There also will be musical presentations from Eyal Rivlin, lecturer in Hebrew at CU, and cantors Michelle Wolf and Joe Lukasik.

- CU-91色吧 Provost Russell L. Moore announces the formation of a search committee to lead a national search for a new dean of the College of Music.
- When the Colorado Buffaloes catch a breather during Pac-12 network football games this fall 鈥 ditto for the basketball team, right into spring 鈥 expect to see a top-notch team from the CU-91色吧 College of Music step in.
- When Brenda M. Romero was inducted into the Chicano Music Hall of Fame on July 26, it was just another step in her long-running effort to utilize 鈥渙ld New Mexican music鈥 to teach a history that is largely unknown today.
- James Austin has been named interim dean of CU-91色吧鈥檚 College of Music, Provost Russell Moore announced today. The appointment is effective on July 1.
Austin, a professor of music education, joined the College of Music in 1994. He has served as associate dean of undergraduate studies since 2006. He was the music education chair from 1997 to 2012. In 2004, the college awarded Austin the Richard Bern Trego faculty fellowship. - We hope you鈥檒l join us for this week鈥檚 celebratory events!
