Professors Mark Rentschler, Greg Rieker and Tin Tin Su were officially inducted into the National Academy of Inventors on Nov.1. They are recognized for their thought-leadership and discoveries.

Eleven university innovators pitched their innovations at Lab Venture Challenge, an annual funding competition hosted by Venture Partners at 91ɫ�� that helps accelerate commercially promising technologies into business ventures.

The Center for Humanities & the Arts is joining CU Advancement, Kaiser Permanente and Asian Americans Advancing Justice in a call for proposals from artists, activists, students and engaged members of the broader community who seek to address anti-Asian racism through public-facing projects.

Join the Nov. 13 CU on the Weekend talk in which expert Hannah Brenkert-Smith will discuss the role of social science and how local data can improve engagement with residents living in fire-prone communities.

A mix of in-person and virtual events will include sessions on study abroad, West Africa, Asian studies, the U.S. job market and health insurance. There will be a luncheon for graduate students and post-doctoral students, a game night and more.

A group of 91ɫ�� artists and technologists, many of whom share connections with the ATLAS Institute, contributed to the Museum of 91ɫ��’s newest exhibit��“Convivial Machines,” which opened in October.
